A few FAQ’s: Yes, you must be over 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. CE recommends responsible drinking including the use of designated drivers. Please plan ahead for this one!

Q: Is this open to non dues-paying members? A: YES. We chose this location for the size and flexibility.  Please just chip in $ where appropriate/keep your own tab open as this is funded from the 2011 dues.  Also, let us know if you plan on coming/ how many will be joining. We have a Facebook poll open here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/49290002989/

Q: Is this free? A: Most Drinks (ex: beer) are and much of the food (+softdrinks) will be paid for by CE.  Contributions toward the tab are welcome.  Some are just thirstier than others!

Q: Should I carpool and use a DD? A: That was a very mature and sensible question, Yes.

Q: Should I wear my 2011 Race/CE swag? A: Of course!  Tech gear whilst drinking is more efficient than not.

Great Job to all the CE member who competed this past weekend at Hueston Woods, Ironman Wisconsin, all of the Rev3 Races, and Ironman 70.3 Half Ironman Championships in Las Vegas!

CE really has some incredible athletes in the greater Cincinnati area. Congratulations to all who raced and be sure to celebrate your successes with your friends and family!

What a turn out for CE in Louisville, KY.  We had many athletes give Ironman a first shot with first time finishes. Experienced athletes also enjoyed the nicer weather (85 degrees) and crushed the course.

Congratulations to all CE finishers!

Up next, Ironman Wisconsin (http://ironmanwisconsin.com/).   Also, keep our Deer Creek CE Team Cookout on 10/2 on your schedule this fall.

With Ironman Louisville upon us this month and a few Ironman distance races open for 2012,  some of you may be considering registering for next year (these often sell out 12 months in advance). If you are considering longer distance race for 2012, take a look at the training plan below to give you a flavor of what a strong full Ironman training season might look like.

We have many very experienced Full IM members, let us know if you have any questions on the message board!
